Our “We See You” campaign addresses two distinct and current challenges that First Nations youth face while living in remote communities.
Through interactive and educational presentations to middle and high school students in urban settings, Dwight Ballantyne has been sharing his experiences and the barriers he faced growing up in a remote northern Saskatchewan First Nation.
Dwight began this journey in January 2020, to raise awareness and bring a voice to this invisible segment of Canadian society.
He has also been sharing inspiration and encouraging the youth living in remote First Nations to create a vision for themselves through a personalized and impactful presentation specifically designed for these youth. The Ballantyne Project team was able to bring these presentations to remote First Nation communities beginning in September 2019.
