Rising together for Indigenous education

My name is Hasan. I am a high school student based out of Mississauga, ON

Today I am speaking for something larger than myself, a topic that is often unnoticed and requires more attention.

With a team of volunteers we are going door to door in Mississauga asking for nothing more than to make a meaningful change in this nation.

As a 1st world nation we should be able to take care of the people living in Canada. But due to the lack of budget spending by the government not all Indigenous children get the school supplies needed to go to school.

Every 50$ provides a Indigenous child the school supplies needed to walk into a classroom with full confidence and the tools to succeed in a learning environment.
