The devastating wildfires this summer in Northern Ontario have affected most of the province. While we have cancelled lessons all week and most of the GTA struggles with navigating severe air quality index ratings, none have been more affected than the many Indigenous families in Northern Ontario who have been forced to evacuate their homes with little to no notice.
With our lessons cancelled this week, we have decided to use our time out of the ring to create a fundraiser to help our northern neighbours who are most in need. Toronto Equestrian is proud to support True North Aid’s wildfire relief efforts by hosting this fundraiser. Every donation made through this page goes directly to True North Aid's Northern Ontario wildfire relief efforts to help provide emergency assistance and essential supplies for affected communities in Northern Ontario. No donation is too small, and if you are unable to donate at this time, we ask that you share this or similar fundraisers with your circles. Together, we can help ensure families have access to the support they need as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
